Serre de Brujas: hillside plot, altitude 121 m to 131 m, soil 40% limestone and Montmorillonite clay


Berty's Serre: hillside plots, altitude 117m to 135m, soil 60% limestone and Montmorillonite clay


Climate: Mediterranean in the heart of the garrigue, characterized by a large daily temperature range


Vine age: 45 years


Density: 4,000 plants/ha

Grape varieties

60 % Syrah, 20 % Grenache, 20% Viognier

Bio et Biodynamie (certifié Biodyvin)

Maceration

70 % en demi- muids de 0 à 8 vins et 30 % en amphore de 750 l. Légers bâtonnages vers la fin de la fermentation. Non collé et légère filtration.

Fermentation with indigenous yeast 70%

Aged 12 months on lees, 70% in demi-muids and 30% in amphorae

Tasting

Dress: a light pink with a crystalline shine


Nose: intense and inviting aromas of red fruits and citrus


On the palate: finesse, freshness, and a long, lingering fruitiness.


Recommended dishes: spicy, Asian, Indian, and North African cuisine (tagine)


Serving temperature: between 12 and 17 °C


Shelf life: 8 to 10 years
